I still have a few Fox 36X abc piston/liner/rod/pin sets from the last production run fellas.
PM me if you would like a set. Or email briangardner_b1@yahoo.com.au

Do you have any 36X p/liners left?
-
Brian, We have found that this P/C is the best way to rejuvenate the 36x. They will also fit other Fox .36 motors as well as all of the earlier .35 Combat Specials. Barring any unfortunate 'hard landings' they will out live us! Cheers, TS.

I have reserved 3 P & L sets for the 36X from Brian Gardner.
Everyone needs to let him know if you want some so he can make another batch.
I have them & they work very well.

I have had enough people ask me for sets to justify another small production run of them.
Anybody wanting them needs to send me a PM. I don't check the forums often, but I get email notifications for PM's.

I will try it again Bob

I've added you to the list Bob.
There is enough people on the list for me to do a small run of 15 sets. I normally prefer 20+ though. I'll get the ball rolling.

I'll have another run of these ready at the end of the month and will start contacting everyone on the waiting list soon.

I just received my Fox 36X piston/cylinder/ rod/wrist pin set in the mail. This is my second set that I have bought from Brian. With me being a machinist by trade, I cannot stress enough the beautiful, accurate craftsmanship that this person puts into his work. Thank you Brian, for making the parts for the engines that we love and don't want to leave them on the shelf to look at.

Brian,
I know this is a little late, but do you have any left of the Fox 36X?

What prop are you guys using with the BG ABC 36X setups? How are you setting it at launch?

Dennis,
Depends on the application and crank work. Al Ferraro and Tom Schaefer get tremendous performance out of theirs. They use Scarinzi's timing from the Blitz article. They are also protege's of Larry's. Best speed performance is with an 8x8 APC. Depending on Nitro content I have used a 9x6, 8x6, 8x7, and 8x8. we used to use Top Flite 9x7 wood years ago as well. Usually launching slightly rich and letting it unload in the air. I've added a video of me flying my Super Satan at 118 mph on 10% powermaster. Also look for Al hitting 129mph on my you tube page.

All sold out now.
I can begin a new waiting list, but I'm not sure there will be enough demand to get the numbers required for a production run.

I did a small run of Fox 35 sets with 36X timing - maybe you have one of those?
Both the 36X and 35 have a single exh port.
Brian
Correct me if I'm wrong but can you take the Gardner Fox 35 ABC and raise the exhaust to get the same product as the 36X. Or does the Gardner 36X have 2 exhaust ports? Maybe I'm confused because I have what I think is a 36x abc in my Fox 35 speed engine and it's just a Fox 35 sleeve with a raised exhaust.

Any more of these on the "schedule?"

Brians 36x has a larger baffel (wider and higher) and located more to center on the piston than th 35 Stunt. The exhaust port are cut smaller and lower on the Stunt set so you would get SPI using it with a 36x crank. Also the intake port is also much smaller, lower and not as wide as the 36x .

Not planned, and not for blacklisted people

All sold out sory Gordon. I've started a waiting list for another run. But I'm so far behind and backlogged I don't see another run of these happening until late next year.
I can add you to the waiting list if you want.

Hi Brian- this having been a very bad year, I can't remember if I asked for 1 or 2 ABC 36X assemblies. I do have a couple of engines to put them in. If you can accommodate I'd appreciateit.

Hi Phil, After not hearing back from you and learning you were unwell I didn't keep any for you. I'll add you to the list for the next run, but as mentioned above I'm so far behind it won't be till late 2022.
