Title: Feed Pipe
Post by: Casey on February 07, 2020, 08:28:19 PM
I bought this combat metal tank and found that the feed pipe is jutting out quite a bit. Will the feed pipe be ripped out or the tank be ripped out of the combat wing on landing?

Its not 'that' bad - could always land inverted?

The uniflow pipe on top of the tank have the same jutting out dimensions as the feed pipe not to mention the needle valve

I have seen where some sport flyers would cut pieces of ply and put under engine lugs to hold the plane high enough to not worry about the fuel tank tubes. D>K
