Title: Fate and the Old Combat Guys
Post by: Terrence Durrill on January 06, 2018, 08:52:01 AM

What's happened here on the combat scene ?  No posts since December 12 ...... Did all the combat guys die and go to stunt heaven ?  That seems to be what happens sooner or later to all the old combat guys, just looking back across the last 40 years. ...... Just wondering.    ......     D>K        H^^

Most of the F2D flyers are on facebook. A lot of the combat sites are very quite .

All the good combat flyers tend to be extremely evasive...... ;D

I’ve found most combat flyers very open and willing to help . Equipment is probably more equal now than at any time in history. The biggest difference is practice.

To quote Jeff Rein  "Top 20. Congratulations to all of the MACA Top 20 competitors! Only once before has 2 members scored more than 1000 points in the same season. This year 5 contestants scored more than 1000 points with the most participation ever with 78 scored events. Also there were 4 different top 20 leaders through the season with 5 lead changes throughout the year in the hottest, most competitive season ever."

78 scored events.

Congrats to Cary on the championship.  I remember watching you and your brother practice at the Knorthern Knights field.  Even Andy stated that some times Cary was not aggressive enough which I agreed with.   Seen a few mishaps when he did, but it looks like it paid off.  Now he has to look out for little nephew.   H^^
