In addition to winning the day, Lou also won the Can-Am Trophy, for winning the most contests in Ontario and Michigan, plus a couple in New York and Chicago.

Everybody toughed out the last couple hours in 59 degrees and drizzle, including an eternal series of 340- and 440-ties and reflys.  Not much photography due to the dingy weather and a full employment situation that had the usual paparazzi cutting counts.
