I have a NIB Dumas Spectrum, I don't see the booms in the kit cut out like other Combat Kits I have. It does have 3 spruce wood pieces, on the plans it says spruce booms. When I look at the plans it says the booms have to be formed. Can someone clarifty these for me, because this is the first Spectrum Kit I have ever seen, thanks.

As a junior and then Senior I won several contest with the Spectrum's, probably built 12-15 of em.
Good airplane that if set up right WILL turn amazingly quick and tight. ST G21 35 9x6 or 6.5 prop Fox 40/40 fuel and one K&B 1L per flight.
I remember the spruce booms but not having to hand cut them. Been 30 years or so.
Did find 2 sets of plans awhile back.
The plastic fuel pod is nice but pain to sheet around
Have FUNNNNN!

The Spectrum kit I had had the booms cut out to fit over the trailing edge. Flew pretty well. Didn't blow off wings like Prather's design.
