You can't really follow we've who or what's happening,  but this video gives the viewer a great overview of the operation of a combat match.

In Detroit-style Speed Limit the planes on go 75 MPH on 60' lines so the action is slow compared to other events.  But as the video shows, it's not all THAT slow.

We start engines and take off off the clock.  The four-minute match begins from a flying start. One point per second and 100 for a cut.  Period.
