CS .28 update
« on: August 07, 2010, 08:43:38 AM »
An update on the CS .28, I made a venturi from a peice of brass pipe from Home Depot it has a .281 ID used an old K&B NVA an OS muffler(the stock one seemed a bit restrictive)and a 9X6 prop, I mounted it on an old Skyray and went to the park, I prime my engines in the venturi as well as chocking and it started on the third flip I set the needle at a rich 2 cycle and launched, it ran rock solid, held the needle setting through the whole tank with no surging what so ever I put up 2 more flights and didn't touch the needle and it ran flawless I'm so happy with it that I've decided to put the speed limit tests on hold and mount it in my Twister, so as long as it doesn't break as I've heard some CS engines do this one good motor for 50 bucks. y1 #^
Thanks

No matter the make of engine, they will break if you keep pushing the limits with them.  Glad it is working for you.   H^^
