I'm wondering if the difference is just the wingtips added on?

Bob do you know what your Quicker weighs?  A os fp .20 should pull it good enough you think?

Can someone help give me some info, i ordered a parts pack from lazer works for the Cal quicker.   Is the Cal quicker built with tail booms like the Satan,  that's what came in the parts pack.   What is the fuselage make up.  I have never seen one in person only pictures but i thought just by looking at the pictures it was a solid fuselage just laid horizontal instead of the vertical like the profile.   Or is it built with tail booms that are covered with sheeting, I'm confused. I guess i need to find some plans of the fuselage buildup.
thanks for listening.
Jim

Go look at the picture on the posted ad.  No booms that I can see.  I think when Riley went with side mounted engines he did the booms like the Voo Doo. D>K

Got an email back from lazer works, seems they put the booms in my kit by mistake, and they are for the s satan.
Bob did you use a piece of 1/2" balsa in between the maple motor mounts?

I built some Quickers and recall the maple motor mounts extended past the wing trailing edge and the stab was mounted on the maple rails.

When the Quickers showed up, the Sweeps went back to the cars.

Riley Wooten told me that the Quicker got it's name from Carl Berryman.

Carl said that the airplane built Quicker.

Picture is worth a thousand words ...  Mine (center model in the first photo) was built from the California Models kit - no wingtips.  Kit was the same as the published plan.
