Thank you Greg.

Problem is: That's a tad more than I'm willing to pay.  ???

Maybe I can make a deal with him.

Cheers, Jerry

The Royal 46 head is indistinuishable from the OS .

Theresa plileoff CLONES , with differant stickers where it says 'royal ' there . Meco etc etc .

Being clones , they all came from tunder tigre factry or whadeva so all look like that Royal .

So there may well be a tuppany one around . All the royal bits drop in a OS case .
Maybe the mecoa is true ABC . If ASP did one the timings likely higher & no go .

   Hi Gerald;
What are some of the dimensions on the head? Like the diameter of the squish band that goes into the top of the liner. And the number of head bolts and spacing. I have some oddball p
arts and heads that I don't know where or how I got them, but you never know what they are until you compare them to something. I know I have never owned any OS .46SF engines but these may be from some clones like Magnums and such. It's worth a check and not difficult to do on my part. I know I have a brand new in package Magnum head but no markings as to what it is.
   Type at you later,
    Dan McEntee

What's wrong with the old head?

Would you believe i don't have the head? And I don't want to remove the one on VF 46 powered ship.  (One head, two engines)

The engine is near new , but missing the original head. I have a head for it but I don't think it is the right one because it sets up to high. (Kind of like a ST 46)

I have not run the engine this way.....

Does that splain it for ya?

Jerry

PS: And since there lots of SF's around and not many VF heads........
