Post what engine this will be for or off of. I have a box of carbs, and will look later today. Is there anything else comparable that would interchange?

4E is from 40RV-M, 46VR-M, 46VR-DF, and 40VR-P. It's bore is 9.8mm. 4B is Ř7.5mm, 4D is 7.7mm, so it's a huge difference.

thank you Paul, I saw those too, but my friend is looking for 4E only.
Spare parts is right on the money, for a .46 VR
Dan, let me know if you find a 4E, thank you!

I finally got my creeky old bones up into the attic to check today, and I have a 4D carb. Don't know what it's from. I didn't hold too much hope because I have never owned any of the engines you listed that used it. I have some other big carbs of OS engines but don't know where they came from or what they fit.

hi Dan, thank so much for looking, this little 4E is supposed to be common, but I haven't had any luck yet. Let me know what other carbs you came across and if you'd like I can try an find homes for them, thanks Bob

Happy Easter to you as well  :)

I better go back and look again, since you call it a "little" Carb!! I just searched  out some images of the 4E and now I know what I'm looking for. I have a OS engine box full of R/C carbs. The 4D I found is huge compared to the 4E it seems, so I better check again. These carbs all came off engines that I bought for stunt mostly, but some may have been laying in junk boxes also. Sometimes to get the engione you want you have to take all that comes with it. I'll check again and get back. Have to go up there to put the "D" away anyway.
   HAPPY EASTER!!

Again, this carb was only included with a few very high performance .40 and .46 engines. You may have more luck on a boat forum.
