WTB : Little T-Bird Kit

Surely a needle in the haystack... but I am looking for Little Thunderbird kit (46" WS), either original Veco, or the Larry Richards reissue.  Thanks in advance!

Years ago, I had a genuine Veco kit, and it was better left NIB, if you get my drift. Terrible wood, terrible die-smashing. Larry's kits were faithful copies of the Veco kits, so if the parts didn't fit, they still wouldn't fit. But his wood was light!

If you want a Veco Hurricane kit produced by Larry Richards, I can fix you up with one of those. IMO, it's one of the best looking Classic designs, and I was lucky enough to see one fly at a NW Regionals at Sand Point NAS...probably '64 or '65. It flew a LOT better than the usual kit-built Noblers and Ares Fox .35 entries...most of which were severely overweight and mushed through corners. I don't recall the name of the entrant, but recall he was from Yakima or Tri-Cities and it was Veco .35 powered.  y1 Steve

Thanks Steve!  I have heard good things about the Veco Hurricane.  Mark Gerber built a beautiful example.  Maybe the best option for the Little T-Bird is to build from plans.
