WTB Fox 35 P&L
« on: June 11, 2025, 03:26:21 PM »
I'm in need of a Fox 35 piston and liner.
I know it's a tough find but maybe someone in Airplane Land has one they don't need.
NIB or close to it.
ABC a big plus.
Thanks
Jay

And they've had reproduction Johnson engines coming for 30+ years.

Amen to that!  MECOA, in my opinion, has done a disservice to the model community.  They buy up all  the product lines (like Great Planes / Hobbico) and then do nothing with it.   MECOA does not even LIST a P/L for a Fox 35.   It would have been better if someone like Brian had the tooling and parts.  If that happened, we would have all the Fox 35s we wanted.

Just to put this out there. I've bought many Fox 35 on eBay and allot of them are engines that have been run a couple of times and thrown in a box. Once you clean them up the parts are very useable and almost new sometimes.

MM :)

Yes!  I have about twenty Fox .35s all from Ebay.   It's easier (and maybe cheaper) to buy new ones than to get parts and rebuild.  There is currently a Gold anniversary .35 on there pretty cheap.   I've been tempted but have five already.   It is harder to find those with muffler ears however you can buy a new or newer old model and take the parts out for your muffler case.
