As the title says I'd like to buy the CL bolt on venturi, with or without spray bar and needle for the Fox Eagle. There weren't too many made but hopefully someone has it.
Thanks

I gotta wonder if the other large Fox engines might have used the same venturi?/ I think I have a Fox .50 that has a bolt on venturi. it came to me in pieces MANY years ago, so i assembled it, test ran it, and put it on an airplane and flew it for a while I know I have never owned a Fox eagle .60 so if I can find it I'll measure it up. I guess you have tried MECOA?

Thanks Dan! No I haven't tried Mecoa. That's an option if nothing shakes out here. I'm sure Jim Lee could cobble up something but I'd like to see if there is one laying in somebody's junk pile first.

Just checked-Mecoa is out of stock on the venturi.

Dave
what is the hole spacing for the mounting bolts?
My Fox 50 looks like 1 1/16".

Dave;
The engine I have is a .45 according to the specs I found on Scepter Flight, but the mounting bolts measure the 1 1/16" center to center. the width of the base is 3/4" , length is 1 3/8" and is 3/32" thick. This is a cast piece. I can email you a photo of the engine and spare venturi I have. If Jim can't get you fixed up let me know, but I'll bet they all used the same foot print for mounting from the .45 up to the .60, knowing how "frugal" Duke was.

Thanks Dan. You are probably right. Let me see what Jim has since he is sort of local to me and I can get together with him and get it. If he doesn’t then I’ll get back to you. Right now I really don’t have a plan for the engine but I got it quite cheap and it’s virtually new. I know Charlie Reeves got some good stunt use from an Eagle for a while.

I have these three Fox Eagle engines from an estate I acquired a number of years ago.
The first one is all castior-gummed solid needing a crockpot session.
Second is used, not sure what kind nor size of Eagle it is
The third appears to be NIB or 'like new".
I would send the first one to anyone who would pay the postage. the other two are perhaps worth a few $s.

Hi Bill. I'll surely take the first one for parts. That's the Eagle I like I have. The others are later versions. Put those on Ebay- you'll get a few bucks for them. I'll cover the postage and a little something for your trouble. Thank You!

Actually Bill yours may be more useful than I thought. I see from Spectre engine tests that the one I have is the "export" model with a different head meant for no-nitro fuel. Yours is the domestic model with the nitro head..........

Thanks Bill. Learned something else about these. The Mark I is long stroke-loop scavenged. The others are schnerle ported.....That construction may be why they have the multi piece case.
