WTB: Brodak P40-B Kit at Old Price
« on: January 11, 2023, 09:42:53 PM »
Hi,

I have noticed Brodak’s Kit and ARF prices have gone up significantly.
I was about to get P40-B kit, but I’d be out of budget with the new pricing.

So, if there’s anyone who is going to part and sell the kit, please let me know.
My budget would be around the old pricing.

Thanks,
Kafin

About a year ago I was told by Brodak that when their current in-house stock of ARFs and ARCs are gone that will be it. Not going to sell them anymore. Kits will still be available, just not ARF/ARC.

Hi Colin, thanks for your response.
I’m aware that they still have it in stock, both ARF and Kit. However, my concern is the total cost, due to this new pricing, would be way too high for a flyer like me who lives outside the States.

Hey guys if you watch Ebay you will see that kits are now going out of site.  Besides when you consider shipping costs, it makes sense to learn to scratch build.  Another reason I am cloning what kit I may be building.  I've learned to create leading edges for ringmasters and other kits.  I showed it over on the Ringmaster forum years ago. Sure there are always a few “Buy it Now” sales listed with $$$$$ prices where the seller is looking to make a killing.  But the kits themselves as completed auctions don’t seem to be selling for huge prices.  Here are the top 5 sale prices I found:
