I believe the Fox combat suction venturi INSERT is square reducer
I think I have one from a trashed Fox36 MKIV

             Fred, the 35/36 combat engines were the X series. The MK series inserts don't fit those engines. I make mine from maple motor mount stock which is very simple to do. I sand some taper on them and friction fit them to the venturi and mark and drill for the spraybar.

If it’s a Rocket, isn’t the Venturi round?

             There was a square venturi Rocket case combat engine which had a needle bearing 4 bolt front end. I believe it's also referred to as the "61" special due to the year it was introduced.

               That's the engine, I have two of them and I enjoy using them. Make certain that the backplate isn't drilled for crank pressure if your going to use it on suction.

Easy fix.
Just screw in an appropriately threaded plug.
