I'm looking for an uncut Top Flight Nobler ARF cowl. Scratches/paint flaws OK. It will be painted anyway. Post here or send a PM.

Brodak sells new cowls for various models including the Nobler.

Are you 4 Imprint certain? I could not find any such thing. Closest thing was the 59 Ares.

This is from the Brodak website.

Brodak kits the Nobler. But I don't know if the canopy is identical to the original Top Flite ARF version.

Well, those are canopies, not cowls. Both useful items but hardly interchangeable! And the Brodak Nobler is a model that is report6ed to be the same as what George Aldrich built and flew for the '51 or '52 NATS and it is a completely different airplane. The kit has a balsa cowling. The cowl for the Top Flite ARF Nobler is about as rare as chicken lips and if anyone makes a replica of it, I am not aware of it. The ARF cowl is pretty flimsy, and while most suggest building one from scratch with balsa, if you have an existing airplane that has been fully fitted out, that can cause some issues with getting to what you might need to work on from the engine back to the landing gear. If you are assembling an ARF from the very beginning, then you can plan for things ahead of time. I have a couple ARF Noblers stashed and when they get built I will either go the balsa route, or at the very least apply another layer of epoxy and glass cloth to the inside before cutting anything.

Rare, yes.

Actually, about a year ago I came across a seller that had 6 new Nobler engine cowls in his possession. I purchased one for a beat up ARF I had that needed one. I don't remember if it was on eBay, SH or RC Groups.

Yes, they are terrible cowls, but for a stunt trainer that will probably end up on the ground it was not a bad investment. I just wanted the model to look 'something' like an airplane from a distance. ;D
