The crank shaft for the LA.40, and FP.40 is supposed to be the same, so you may want to include those in your search. I think there was a trhead in the engine section about this and Rand Smith posted what will interchange and work.

Dan is on it as usual, add the FP 35.  Same crankshaft for the FP 35, FP 40, LA 40, LA 46, OS  #23302000.

Thanks for the offer Motorman I ordered one before I seen this post. I kind of regret it because there is a small and large version. Randy had the larger version and balanced it. I wouldn't mind getting a large version if you have one. I can see where he grinded off some material and would like to duplicate it.
