Title: Merco 61 (Tom Dixon two ring special) for sale (Price reduced)
Post by: Harold Brewer on April 23, 2025, 09:40:39 PM
My Merco 61 for sale.  This is a two ring special distributed by Tom Dixon.  A clone of the Supertigre 60 and runs like one except for less vibration.  With the exception of a one tank bench run, it is NIB.  Asking $120 plus shipping.  If interested, PM me for photos.  Price reduced to $ 100 plus shipping.

Regards,

Harold Brewer

And only needs 4 Oz of fuel for the pattern. I used some of them (49-61) back in the 90īs and they performed excellent (both Dixon tuned and stock). Dixon mounted Bowman Rings, at least in mine, and have one unit with 2000 flights with the same ring  ~^

Agree with that.  Frank Bowman was a model engine's best friend.  I probably bought 100 rings from him.  He made a lot of other stuff for me too, like nylon wrist pin buttons, shims that go under the thrust washer and straighten crankshafts.   He was really a great guy.
