Hi Gil.

I think so, as I bought several years ago a called "hybrid McCoy 40" who has exactly that mod performed. What I don´t Know is if it is necessary some machining work to adapt the pieces.

Kind regards from Spain.

Manuel.

Gil it can be done but requires the case to be bored out several thousandths to fit the Series 21 sleeve.  I attempted to do one recently by simply hogging it out with a grinding stone.  I got the engine together but couldn’t get it to start by hand.  I may take the electric starter next time I try.  I think once it gets loosed up....

It can also be done by taking the cylinder of a lightning bolt Mccoy .40 and using the rod and piston out of a series 21 Mccoy .40. Stick that assembly back into a lightning bolt Mccoy .40 crankshaft and crankcase.
Then you will have what you want.
