Title: For Sale K&B .61
Post by: George Truett on February 01, 2022, 01:20:24 PM
Next up in my C/L engine sell down is a nice K&B 61.  Used engine but in very good/clean condition.  Someone machined a small area on the top of the exhaust port for unknown reasons, there is still plenty of meat left and muffler seals fine.  Included is a Jim Lee venturi/NVA and tongue muffler, there is not a stock muffler.  $70 for this one shipped in the CONUS, I probably have that in the parts from Jim. * I just noticed for the first time, there is a matching cut on the bottom of the exhaust port.  Top and bottom still measure .05 or a little more in thickness and the pass is about .160 wide???

What are the dimensions of the mounting holes, fore aft and side to side?  Was thinking of upgrading from  a ST .46.

George, I don't have a St 46 to compare but I doubt it's a drop-in replacement.
Fore-Aft  1.02"/26mm
Side-Side 1.85"/47mm
Front mtg hole-face of drive washer 1.81"/46mm

All measurements are from center to center of holes as best I could with calipers.
