I've just talked to Don this afternoon and agreed to place an ad for him, his Windows 10 is being recalcitrant in following orders.

As almost everyone knows, Don's "Warbird" series of profile stunt planes not only look realistic and just plain cool, they also fly very well. Witness Joe Gilbert's T-6, Joe Bowman's Helldiver, Richard Oliver's Dauntlas, dare I say...my J-3? Doc's B-25 and Wayne Wiley's P-38?

Don has 25 hand-drawn airplane plans, each a work of art in and of itself, and he is offering all 25 on a Thumb-drive....take into Kinko's or the like and they print up the plans you need to build by. Or, just hang on your workshop wall. (The plans, not the thumb-drive)

Edit...Individual plans include other versions of the plane, ie, different canopies, vertical fins, etc. All have directions and tips for building, and a brief history of the airplane. All are hand drawn, no CAD.

Sent Don an email Weds night regarding how to send payment, to the Yahoo address above. No response as of yet 48 hours +/- later. Forwarded a copy to the old address that he used to reply to. Fingers crossed...

I just got an answer to an email I sent Dale. Don is having some email/computer issues. Don is living alone now, and may not hear the phone on first try, but for right now calling him may be the best bet. Dale says he would like to hear from some stunt guys! I'm going to try mid morning.

There may be some changes to getting the warbird files to ya'll. I was unaware that I can send the files directly to your computers! My son tipped me off on a simple process which sends the files right to your computer! This will avoid buying thumb drives and paying for shipping the files! I may actually make a few bucks now!! And I already have the E-mail addresses so soon you may have it all!

Good to see you pop in Don! I'm in a for a set. Just let us know how you want payment. i have several sets on paper, and all of them scattered between computers but if you can send out one big file, I'll put these on a thumb drive as a hedge against a computer crash.

I just got an email from Don this afternoon with a link to the files. If you haven't heard from him, you should assume that you will soon. 78 files including drawings and building notes. They're gold...

I got the same email. from a posting service, and he has them posted to that site, and you down load them from there. That sounds like it's easier for him, and the best way to send so much information. It's 72 files all together, and that probably includes instruction sheets. Most or all of Don's plans are more than one sheet also, plust the instructions. That's why I'm glad to have them digital to hel me conserve some room. If you contacted him, look for an email from the service very soon. We really appreciate this Don! Thanks for all the hard work!!

Try calling him at the number in Dale's original post. Don may still be having some 'puter issues or may need assistance from his son on this. Keep trying, after all the work Don has done on these, I would like to see him get a good response

Sorry about the confusion here, this is the first time I have been into Stunthanger since Dale's announcing they would be available and I see names I had no idea there are quite a few of you wanting the plans, which I was totally unaware of. I am presently trying to get the list I have now finished up before I start in on
another round. I am getting old (88),lost the wonderful Flora last fall and am struggling with the present list. If anyone an tell me how to get an E mail to accept an attachment of 1 gig. That would make life much simpler, but give me until the end of May before you place an order.

To all who want a set of the plans, I need your name and postal address. I am also asking for $20.00 for the files. Yes, I am sort of giving them away as I have no idea when I will not be able to do this anymore! I am resorting to mailing the plans out on a flash drive so you will have a backup in case the ccomputer starts to act up like mine!! Be patient, I will get them out! I hope!

Before he passed on, Don offered flash dives loaded with PDF's of all of his profile warbirds. The price was very reasonable, and several of the guys bought them I don't know how many were sold, but they are out there. I have one of those PDF's I purchased from Don. What are you looking for?

I don't know if Don's family is making them available. I'm Sure someone on the forum will know how to contact them. If that doesn't work out, contact me or one of the others who bought them at the time. WE should be able to work something out. I personally like having Don's work out and available. I'd hate to see his fine work fade away.

Look up Dennis Leohardi here on the forums. I think he worked something out with Don to be able to sell his plans before he passed away or maybe with Don's family. he goes by Air Classix here ion the list and also on eBay.
