Berkeley kits
« on: Yesterday at 07:09:02 PM »
I can bring some Berkeley kits to the Nats if anyone is seriously interested.  All are scale models

AJ-1 Savage:  Two kits.  Both have the carved fuselage and nacelles and metal cowls. some missing parts for the built up wings but should be able to work around this.  (One would probably want to do a sheeted wing anyway.)
P-38:  A Muciano design. carved nose and nacelles.  Seems complete.
Shoestring:  Some missing parts, has canopy, metal gear, wheel pants and cheeks
Douglas F-4D Skyray, ducted fan design.  Mostly complete.  An interesting project for an electric.
Grumman F-11F Tigercat. a small ducted fan design.  Mostly complete.  Box is in poor shape.  An interesting project for an electric.
DeHavilland Beaver:  Complete
Boeing P-26:  Complete

All of these are from the '50's and early 60's.

I do not want to bring these just to be looked at.  If you are serious about getting any of them, let me know and we can talk about details, like price.  Pick up at Muncie and save a bit (like a lot) on postage.
