Title: A small mountain of Perfect Fuel Tanks
Post by: Andrew Hathaway on July 07, 2021, 03:54:07 PM
Approximately 91! Perfect fuel tanks.  NOS.  Boxes have some wear, most of the boxes I've looked inside, the tanks are mint condition.  Nearly all are 1/2a sizes.

Tank # and quantity are as follows.

#1 8
#2 3
#4 6
#7 8
#15 9
#16 5
#17 9
#18 12
#19 9
#20 4
#21 3
#22 4
#10 2

Plus 8 loose tanks, and a random Kap Pak tank still in the box.

I'm thinking $200 shipped for the lot, $2/tank plus postage.

Andrew:

That's a handful of little guys! Could you point me to something on-line showing tank numbers and their capacities?

Thanks.

If you right click on the image and "Open in another tab" you can zoom in and see the sizes and descriptions on a lot of the boxes.

You might try looking them up on Brodak's website.  Add BH-50X and replace the X with the tank number and it looks like the descriptions correspond.

These are running $12 each from Brodaks!   :o :o

Not to be a party wrecker but a lot of those not so Perfect tanks are not clean inside. A lot of them are usually rusty inside
I and others in days past did a lot of rebuilding those tanks after we cleaned the insides. This of course goes back to the days when you couldn't afford to throw away a needed tank. Being young sucked.
