Brodak Blue Angel
« on: March 30, 2015, 06:38:11 PM »
Talk to me about the Blue Angel.  I see that Larry Scarinzi used the Fox .59 Stunt in that bird.  Anybody here built one; even more curious if anybody mounted the Fox .59 in it.

I have seen one fly and pitted for its pilot at VSC a few years ago. It is an excellent flying classic legal airplane. An LA-46 would be a good choice for power. Trike gear but the main gear is wide track fuselage mounted rather than wing. Works well and ideal if one is flying off of a rough field.  8)

LA 46 or ST 51?  Leaning toward the ST 51.

Probably use the Fox .59 for OTS.

I think Randy Cuberly had a Blue Angel at VSC.    Took picture of him and the plane to show Byron Meriwether years ago.    Come on Randy fess up.
