nothing really much to show, just sanded surface, I will look maybe i have pictures somewhere,,
No really good pictures of Emma,, especially since I am YOUNGER than you, and I prefer Joanna Lumley,, the NEW Avengers,,

This is the closest I have come, I think it may look ok on the tail,, but I need to do some photoshop work, and then experiment with decals,,

and that is NO exageration,, man this better be pretty dang nice when I get done,, Of course sanding a couple hours a night it takes a while,,
throw in, stepdaughters car having issues, daughter needing a ride, grandaughter wanting poppa to read from "Curious George" every night,,  Girlfriend actually wanting me to spend time withher,,Oh and working some,,,, man a guy could frustrated,, sheesh, well maybe if it didnt have 57 ribs, which means 228 corners to carefully sand, oh wait, then theres the spots around the gear,, and,,,,,,, sigh
almost there, have 1/8 of the wing left to sand, then its on to paint!  well after I make new fixtures to hold my flaps and elevators,,

Rob, its my pleasure to corrupt,, uh, indoctrinate? another into the wonderful world of control line,,;)

Jim, My plan TODAY is that it will be gold again, but then I still haven't decided on what I am doing for trim yet,, I am a couple days away from being ready to paint,, so I am thinking unless something hits me on the head, it will probably be gold again,,

but, reality is,, you guys will know what I decide when I do,, lol,,
all the trim schemes I keep coming up with are pretty elaborate, and I want to stay simple. This airplane has really gorgeous lines and I want to make them the focus instead of some trick fancy multicolored scheme....

Mark,

Go with the colors we talked about. And please, stay away for lavender. Please, OK?   ;D

Yes, stay away from lavender or any shade of purple. "Black Cherry" is cool, tho...  y1 Steve

Ok how about Fushia,, or Coral, or, Mauve,,, or,,,
nah, leaning towards the Root beer and a burnt Orange,, maybe with some cream for trim, but I really wont know till I get the base colors on, then I will decide for sure. Heck I cant make up my mind on what to do trim wise! I have had to long to think about it, to many ideas,, to many random,, " well this would be really cool" thoughts

OH by the way, sanding is DONE, just details left to attend  to. Makeing stands to hold flaps and such,, reworking the cowlin hold down a bit, stuff like that.
then its OFF TO PAINT,, again,, sigh,,

Won't Robin be proud to hear this last choice of coloration! H^^ LL~ HH%%
Also a basic White model...with a basic trim of gold...and airbrushed into a deep copperish'redishTahieeeian' Gold like the same color as your first hard luck paint paint scheme..

except this time...simply just using that beautiful warm gold for trim...with a basic back ground of white.
Every mean creme paint job that I have ever seen...always seems to end up looking   like a dirty faded white to me? n1 :o

Whatever colorization you use....with your expertise and gifted "minds-eye ball" this new machine will no doubt be another Scarborough beauty to behold! BW@

Shultzie,

Uh, please, no bronze. Or copper. Hmm, well, maybe bronze on the gold base color...

And the model in the last picture is nice. The girl, that is.

Donnie is a spring chicken. Now, if we can just get a handle back in his hand.

Today....I fell off the wagon and ended up with some of my old local-loko' kite-krazzee's at Chamber Bay Golf course Park in the Fog! Got to  test fly a brand new  9 foot span custom ultra light duel line sport kite.

Here is a the view before my battery gave out. (Shot of my Valentine ladies...and the view to the north toward Gig Haaaba across the Narrows bridge...if the fog had lifted.)

Light wind...not much pull...but my right flyin car-pooooool' tunneled hand aches right now as I try to type this. (That hand does feel like it belongs to a 150 year old koot.

Would have been an awesome place to fly CLPA. About 53 degrees and 2-3 mph steady from the SW. Just enough wind to carry the vortex out of the circle?

Well now Shultzie,, I am certain we can come up with some sort of Lanyard that will transfer the load of the handle to your wrist,, then all you have to do is wiggle it up and down,,

seriously, sorry the hand is still bothering you, have ya been doing the reccomended therapy for it?
