Title: Smoothie kit or scratch build
Post by: Richard Koehler on February 02, 2010, 10:25:54 AM
I've wanted a Smoothie since I was 14.  Got talked into a Nobler instead by a cousin back than.  After my experience with Smoothie ARC's, looks like I either scratch build or buy the Brodak kit.  I've got the 1979 Airtrails magazine with the Smoothie so that will help. The only Brodak kit I've seen was my Vampire, which I thought was excellent.  Anyone have any experience with the Smoothie kit?  ???

What Ty said. Plus, if you want to build the inverted engine version it can be easily kit-bashed. John Miller drew out plans for the conversion. I think they may be available somewhere in the archives of this forum. Kit built Smoothies w/ inverted engine mods come out looking something like this. 8)
