Title: Sig Magnum and Classic /N-30
Post by: Phil Spillman on December 12, 2018, 07:47:32 PM
Is the Sig Magnum eligible for N-30 competition? Also is the Prowler plane old enough for N-30?

Hi Phil,
It is 33 years old but I don't know the cutoff dates.  Maybe Keith or Bubba will chime in on this.

Classic cut off is December 1962.   N30 is any design 30+ years old on day of contest. D>K

Many Thanks to all who set me straight on this one! I have a friend who has a Magnum and he will be delighted to learn that it is N-30 legal!

The PAMPA Rules for Classic Stunt state:

"The purpose of the event is to encourage the construction and flying of control line stunt models designed, published or kitted prior to the year 1970."

So, the cutoff date for Classic Stunt is December 31, 1969.

I thought it was 62 because of the Spirit of 62 Award. ???
