Here is my Sheeks "Sea Vixen" as of today. Medium Silk Span, Carbon on the fuselage. Next is fillets and then primer.

Don't forget that the Sheeks Awards will continue to be given at VSC XXI. We expect to seen many more of Jack's airplanes

You know I'm teasing.  As for the Sheeks award, looks like the rest of us can fogetaboutit!  The Vixen is an enchantress, I can hardly wait to see it!

The colors were decided on a long time ago. Colors and Paint scheme will be just like the recently repainted full size Sea Vixen. I have already matched the colors.

if your doing it in silver base coat , can we see a shot of it then ?

Matthew,

I don't use silver base coats.

From here it is Poly Fiber Super Fil for the fillets, and then auto primer, then auto base coats for color. The colors have already been matched and made. 

After the color base coats the last details are added: Inklines, plaqcards, lettering, etc, before final clear coat.. There is probably 50 to 100 hours of work ahead yet!

I love your sarcasm!

Mike Keville informed me that VSC XXI starts next March 17th.

Since that will have to involve some "Irish Celebrating" and very little arm twisting, it sounds like we all will have to be there!
