Title: Sea Vixen Progress-Inlets
Post by: Tom Niebuhr on December 25, 2007, 11:13:25 AM
The inlets are now in place. I have added the plate fairing that is forward of the inlets of the real Sea Vixen. It's getting closer. (I think)

Now to the Cowl,Tips, weight box, and leadout guides with a little adjustment.,, Phew!!! this is a project and a half!!!

Great job, and I am REALLY looking forward to seeing this one finished!

It is looking very cool, Tom. I still think you should take my advice on the paint scheme.

Bill,

it is a RoJet.40 side exhaust.

Randy,
I had 3 choices on the paint scheme: 1) Red Bull; 1) Red and Yellow Drone; 3) Royal Navy.

The Red & Yellow is the most visable with a bad background, but I just love the newly repainted airplane with the Royal Navy colors. I will probably curse it when there are trees in the background, but hey, I flew one airplane for almost 5 years that had a black fuselage.
