Are there any Photos of Larry"s Blue Angel on this website?
If Not does anyone have a photo they could post?
Thanks,
Walt

Ty,
Nope, the Delaney/Miller planes were Dave Gierke All American Eagles. Randy Cuberly was flying a Scarinzi Blue Angel.

Here is a shot of Bob Kautzman's, Yakima Wa's. beautiful Blue Angel. (pardon the tape.....Bob noticed some stress cracks formed after flying his pattern with a chipped prop.
BEEEUUUUUTIFUL FLYING MODEL...Bob builds some truly awesome works of sky art.

Say hey Shultzie. Did he, Bob Kautzman, use to have a cream colored or light tan Nobler and fly combat primarily back in the early 70's.???
Hummm?
NO! BOB WAS WAAAAAAAAAAAAY TO LAID BACK AND "NORMAL" TO FLY COMBAT...but maybe our JIVE COMBAT TEAM just might remember him?
Phil Granderson
Howard Rush
Dirty Dan??? Just might remember????
I CAN NOT RECALL SEEING ANY CREAM OR TAN COLORED NOBLER...from that period of time in the 60-70 or 80's here in the NW.

One thing I've found out is that the Blue Angles trim scheme is very visible, and not hard to apply. It stands out very well in front of almost any background, and shows the plane really good.
Heres a couple of in flight pictures of my All American Eagle finished in the Blue Angel livery. I'd like to give proper credit for the pictures, but I don't remember if Russum (sp) or Aud took the wing over pic, And I really don't remember who sent me the landing picture from the Northwest Regionals.
I bet that Scarinzi's Blue-Angel would be a great performer, based on how Randy Cuberly's version flew.

Geez John,,
thanks,, lol, that was one of the ones I took of your beautifull bird that weekend. You are right, it does present really well . even when it was grey and overcast it showed up well.

Walt,
I believe there are acouple of shots of Larry working on his Blue Angel on the Pampa website. Go into the sixties section, thats where I saw it. It was awhile back though he was with Duke Fox. Some really good photos there.

I'm not positive Walt, but I believe there are two on this site somewhere. One in the blue and one in yellow. Both at the last VSC by Gordan Delaney and Joe Bellcrank (John Miller) y1 H^^
Too bad the scans are a bit fuzzie-wuzzie LL~

To ALL ! Thanks for your help.

First picture is of Barry Simmonds (left) white version of the Blue Angel (with wing mounted main gear), along with Larry and his Fox .59 powered version. To the right might be Duke Fox with the funny little hat. I really like the wing mounted main gear version, and would like to see more pics of this model, or how to contact Barry, if anybody knows him.
The second picture is of Randy Cuberly's OS .46LA powered Blue Angel at VSC some years ago. Probably an Aud picture; I lifted it off of SSW's forum. Brodak has been threatening to kit this design. I'd hope they'd include both main gear setups on the plans. Didn't Dawn Cosmillo fly a .35 powered version of this plane also, at the '64 NATS? H^^ Steve

Barry Simmond's ship is NOT a Blue Angel. It is an original jet styled .35 size stunter for which plans are not available.

I also doubt...HIGHLY that Dawns models were Blue Angels...
Here is the model she used at the 68 Nats..

If I ever remember, I'll get LS to drag the original (he still has it hanging in his basement) out for some photo work...
