Is there a full fuse P-40 design that qualifies for the Classic event ?

Bill Simons P-40 (CF265) was published in FM in 6/72

These Arnt. And you can get a hundred trying to jump a ' bow wave ' on your car . They sit on the side of the road way out in the beyond .
As the groups progress in size as you proceed , they appear to have given it some thought .
A swarm or 80+ over the hood , windshield , grill etc . Within 6 in of the vehical . at 80 in real money not cheapskate metric ones .
Maybe theres ANOTHER P-40 TOO . :-\

Allen I believe Matt Colan,s grandfather had a p 40 that he designed in the sixties and competed with. He had it at Brodaks a few years ago and as I recall it looked nice and flew very well. George

The Simons P-40 is considered by most to not be classic legal due to its 1972 publication date. Too bad. It is eligible for NOS 30 though. Walt Pyron's P-40K is classic legal. It is similar to Bob Eliot's Black Tiger but with a bubble canopy. Tom Dixon may have plans but I haven't confirmed this. 8)

Mark Gerber had a nice P-40 at the 2016 Brodak Fly-In but I'm not sure of the designer. I think he was flying it in Classic Advanced.

Not Classic , but otherwise youd have nothing to complain about .

Dunno if its that noteable , but its pretty straightforward. A bit of variation in the sanding block could adapt airfoil etc to taste . VD~

The old Berkely kit with SIG label. Had one and it flew fast with Fox .35 Stunt. But still a better flying plane than the pilot.

Bob Elliott's Dad use to come into my camera repair shop. He saw my Juno sitting on a bench and told me who he was. When he came back to pick up his camera he gave me all of Bob's old speed equipment. He had parts of the original Blackhawk model to show me. The airfoil was not pointed like the plans show.but the high point was farther back than a nobler. I do not remember the airfoil being blunt but it was not pointed. I still have his old speed props.

Mark Gerber's P-40 is his replication of the Parrot P-40. Fine looking model and flies quite well.
