Brodak S-1 Ringmaster
« on: January 05, 2014, 04:38:21 PM »
Pretty much a newbie..or coming back into the hobby.

Any advice/opinions on the Brodak Ringmaster?

I have finished the Smoothie profile and am in the middle of the Sig Skyray 35.

My first memories are of the Ringmaster.  So I have to build it.

Thanks..

build it as light as possible ... what are you going to power it with?

Thinking of powering with Fox .29 or McCoy Redhead .29

Covering with Coverite film or Solartex and using epoxy paint on the fuselage.

There is a ton of information on everything Ringmaster

I rebuilt an old S1A for my grandson to beat up ... he is doing well with it - good clean electric power.

Use the McCoy engine. It is more appropriate to the Ringmaster then the Fox 29/36 slant plug model.
