Have you run the engine on a stand to see how it handles and what props seem to work on it? Instead of the Flying Clown, ( because I'm not that familiar with that airframe) the next down in size is the Circus Prince in the PDQ line. My son framed one up back when he was young teenager recovering from his dive out of the maple tree in our back yard. It's quite light and if the Cub isn't exactly a powerhouse it may be a good match. I would try running the engine and make sure it runs consistent and somewhat reliably. If it doesn't you can just put it in the display case and move on to something else. use some fuel with some castor in it.

It gets 11,600 RPM on Zero nitro and 20% Bakers AA castor. And a Fox standard short. Wi ae 8X4. Engine is 2 3/4 oz weight. M' Fox .15 X is 3.6 oz. The Cub is light so the model wae need nose weight depending on which model.

Well that sounds pretty respectable. I would say the Circus Prince, or any other real .15 size model should work. If not you could always hunt down another engine. Maybe even the JR Flite Streak. Brodak had a renamed version of the Flite Streak called Lightning Streak in several sizes and you may find a deal on one of the .15 sized kits.
