Trying to nail down the date of the twin Fox 35 powered Mosquito that Jack designed and published. Need to know for sure that it is or isn't Classic legal.
Also would love to get a copy of the magazine article. I am not sure even what magazine it was printed in. I do have the plans! LL~

Sorry Brother Big Bear: :(
AMA Plans service lists it as August '81. It does not say what mag - but i would guess MA

You probably already know this but RSM does kit Jack's "Mossie Stunter". Lazar cut etc but not listed as classic legal at the RSM web site. Idea :! have any Sheeks design, regardless of date eligible at VSC. It's not like the later ones are going to be any more competative than the earlier ones.

I don't remember the magazine either. I saw the airplane in the early 80's. Jack had sold it to someone and he had it in the trunk of his car.

Thanks, guys. Just *wishful thinking* about the Classic legal part, I guess......

According to the bibliography done by Tom Morris and sold by PAMPA products, (hint) the Mosquito had 2 -.15 engines and was featured in the August 1981 Model Aviation. H^^ Jack did three twin engine stunters that I could find. I wonder how many scale twin engine planes he has done? D>K
Not sure if PAMPA Products has any copies of the Bibliography right now. We are discussing reprinting Tom's Classic book since it is long sold out. Not sure about the OTS book, either! My Classic book tore up, some of it got lost, and I had to get another off ebay!

Might want to talk to Al Rabe before getting too excited about any of the JS twins.. He has one of the originals (not sure which one) hanging on his garage wall and has a few interesting observations about it's performance.

I've built two of Sheek's Mosquitos. First with TT 25. It was a great plane, one I'd use at any contest. Second has retracts with 28s in it.
