Title: How do I get a design verified as classic?
Post by: pat king on July 02, 2011, 11:25:44 AM
I want to get the Deweybird (45") verified as a Classic design. I have a copy of the plans signed by the designer and dated 1968.

Thanks,  Pat

Sounds like you have the verification.

Hi Pat,

I agree with what Tom said, that should do the trick

In the case of the Firecat (for OTS), the information was corroborated by sending copies of the evidence to the PAMPA rules chairman. Copies to Allen Brickhaus, Bob Hunt, and Robin Sizemore would be a good idea, too. If the info gets published in SN, FM, MA and somebody flies one at VSC, you're good to go.   y1 Steve

I was tootling around the PAMPA website (after logging in) and found a place where it said that the PAMPA board of dictators would rule on evidence of newly discovered Classic designs. It would probably help to get your District Dictactor convinced first...i.e., follow the chain of command.  y1 Steve

Thanks for the input. I talked to Allen Brickhouse and have posted what he recommended here and on Stuka Stunt.

Thanks again,  Pat
