The signature piece of the Defiant is the canopy and gun turret. Mr Price did a phenomenal job with that. I was always curious why he made the constant thickness wing ending in the football shaped tip rib. I do not think any of his other designs exhibited that feature.
I never got to see Harold's Defiant fly, bet it looked GREAT in the air...
