After two years of working with cad people and laser cutters I have been told that the "Giant KingPin" kit will arrive next week. That means that we will have it in the stores by the end of the month.

Larry, is this an Old Time legal plane?

This kit was designed in 1961 by Walt Musciano.

It was designed by the great, and still living, Walter A. Musciano in 1961.
I have a set of plans direct from Walt and will build my second copy soon. The first one works super as an LA 25 Racer.

Good looking machine....did Mr. M ever build it with wing mounted gear (or two fuse mounted wheels)?
-
I do not know if Walt ever put two weels on it but I am sure that others have.

Neither the Giant King Pin nor the Giant Stuntmaster (same vintage from Walt and Scientific) need two wheels. I fly 99% of the time off grass and all I did was bolt an old R/C nylon horn on the bottom of the outside wing tip underneath the TE. Any .29-.35 vintage engine does a great job of powering both.
