Title: Geseike Nobler 48" span
Post by: Dennis Toth on March 29, 2017, 12:06:29 PM
Guys,
Does anyone have the details of Bob's 48" span version of his Nobler? I believe it was one of the last ones he built with the Fox 35. I'd like to know where he changed the wing was it from the center or the tips and was the cord changed?

Best,    DennisT

Dennis      I talked to Bob about this many years ago on one of my Dallas business trips. He used the same wing in at least two models maybe three. The wing was shortened at the tips and had 3/4" longer inboard wing. This wing gave better wind penetration and powered better. Bob flew very slow compared to most other flyers. I suspect he used shorter lines than most others also ,maybe 57 foot. I do not know the cord but it looked like his other Noblers.
