Ed Southwick "Lark"
« on: January 30, 2020, 03:23:12 AM »
Hi guys...

Several months ago I was asked to do a cutting job for Dave Sabon of the  "Lark" by Ed Southwick.

The original drawings were done by Bill Byles, so we got the okay to make some cad files for this one and off they
went to my buddy Steve Berry.

While Steve initially just had to do the ribs, spar and the sub spar he did a great job and here are a couple
of pictures showing off Dave Sabon's finished Lark. Take notice to this one, it has an elliptical wing and tail.

Thanks to Steve for doing the drawings and Bill Byles for giving us the green light and especially to Dave for his taste for perfection. Check out Dave's finished "Lark"

Parts will become available in the near future.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the pictures, Walter. Dave doesn't go to contests so we don't see his stuff much.
Most of us California guys well know Ed's Lark and Skylark designs. Very nice looking.

Hi everyone,
the Southwick Lark is a beauty and a "golden lady" among the classics.
Did you know how can I get the drawings for it?
Is there any way to buy the plans ?
Thank you.
