While lurking on my other long time favorite puter'hanger place..FLYING LINES HAS AN AWESOME SHOT OF ALAN RESINGER'S BEAUTIFUL STUNT MACHINE...AN EQUALLY AWESOME "GYPSY" that was a design by our stunt grunt Icon Jim Silhavy....

GADS! AL! THAT IS PURE R&R ART TO THE MAX!

Here is a few photos from my old slides that show where the linage of this great GYPSY.. "GYPSLER" came from.
Anyone who has had the pleasure to see either Jim Silhavy or Alan Resinger's models UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL...were in for some real stunt model EYE CANDY!

I believe that's a beautiful old Gypsey. I did a muffler fitting for Al for this plane about 2 years ago. :) Not sure he ever got the engine run he was looking for.

Guess I was sooooooooooooblown away with that model....I failed  to read when Al,s Beauty was actually built..

I will never forget seeing FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME that beautifully SHINEY CORVETTE RED GYPSY OF HIS...AT THE 67 NATS. Perfection in every sense of the world.
NOW THAT WAS A HUMBLING EXPERIENCE......ALMOST WANTED  TO GO BACK TO THE DORM AND STICK THAT OLD STING RAY OF MINE IN THE NEAREST DUMPSTER.  y1 y1 H^^

Mr. Jim Silhavy is the perfect gentleman to spend time with.  I was trying to find a 2" Veco/Froom spinner to put on his model to take pictures with at Brodak's a couple years ago.  I, sadly, didn't have one with me.......

If you will notice he also flys same direction as this old guy. I don't here anyone giving him a bad time about it. Could it be everyone else is flying the wrong direction. HB~> HB~> HB~>
