Have any of you guys out there some pics of Bob's 1967 through '69 Noblers.
I am finishing up my model and am trying to capture the look as much as possible.
If one could post them here for all to see, that'd be great too!
Chris...
P.S. Here is the best I have...

HI Chris,
Someone posted a picture of Bob's '65 plane on the PAMPA site under Classic Planes. Don't know how much help that will be! ;D

Morn. Chris and gang...
I have gone through one bag of old slides...and here are some Aldrichke' Noblers of Bob's from 67-68-69-70
Wish I had written on the frame which year was which but should be easy to tell from the backgrounds...starting with your tweaked slide
Photo of Bob's plane that Howard is so lovingly doing "diaper dooty" for his MENTOR N' ICON LL~ H^^ LL~

Another shot of Howard doing diaper dooty to (shows the bottom of model?)

Thanks for all of the good shots, Don.
This picture, to me, says, "These flaps are too big and I don't have an adjustable elevator to flap ratio set-up, so I'll cut the flap area down."
See the black trailing edges on the flaps! Finish it up with a little black dope. Cool, man.

Black paint trim on TE of flaps...well.....HOW BOUT THAT? Ode to the continuance' of the Nobler linage...huh?
Very interesting... H^^
Thanks for pointing that out...I never noticed that before?
Bye the way....check out the cover of my old Aero Modeler Oct.74 issue of Bob mw~

Thank you, oh artistic one.
I think I'm going for the 1970 scheme. It looks great and is readily recognizable as the "Gieseke Nobler" paint job.
I have a quart of Randolph Colorado Red from my first Pitts Special, it should be just right.
