Well,
Let's all mull this around and decide which of these classic airplanes is the best looking in this category.
The category is I beamers or sons or fathers of I beamers by design. This brings a good number of other types of construction besides I beamers into the loop.
Here they are in no paticular order - - There are others that I either forgot or don't know about. However, let's not let the list extend over 30 or so planes

12. Venus (not sure about this one)

IIRC, his gull wing Stuka was an I-beamer. Simply beautiful.
Dave Reyes has made a career out of building Jack's designs and has a beautiful Sheik and Knight hanging on his wall.

Ed, in regard to the "Nuts + Bolts", are you building it as per the plan with the all flying stab?
I'd love to build one myself when I catch up a bit, seems like a really interesting project.

Rob I am not going to use the flying tail. I am going to use a convention stab-elevator. The Nuts is not much different from another classic plane I have flown quite a bit so I am not really trying something new. I plan to use a ST/46 or a ST/51 I am not sure which it will be. I have built several parts for it but there is another plane to be built first.

Ed, your geodetic I-beam wing plane you had at marietta a couple of years back would have to be in the list of cool I-beamers.... what was that job? (the red one)

I believe you are referring to Ed's Juno, a Werwage design and a victim of someone making Ed an offer he couldn't refuse.

I am setting at Jacks house and we reviewed your listing of his designs that are Classic elegable. The only one missing was the Ryan S.C. which is not a true I-beamer.

The Mirage II is legal, the III isn't. Only real difference is going from a taildragger to a trike and a couple of aesthetic details. Definately on my list to build.
I currently have a Novi I on the board. About half framed up.
