Just finished my scratch built Mercury Cobra.

It has an increased wingspan of 42inches (extra 2inch rib bay on the inside wing)

Adjustable leadouts, carbon fiber pushrod with adjustable metal clevis at the elevator.

Engine is an older Thunder Tiger 25 modified with a Enya 19 delrin venturi and a OS 20/25fp needle valve. Top Flite 9x4 wooden propeller to begin, modify as needed.

The engine has good compression so it should run well. >fingers crossed<

Home made metal fuel tank, approx 3oz capacity.

Rattle can purple paint with Nitro fuel proof clear over top. White plastic film on top wing covering, blue and white check film on the bottom.

Hand crafted "Cobra" decal.

Weight is 29oz which I am very happy with!!

And the Best of British (luck). One of our better pilots built one last year for Profile Stunt, - crashed it due to lack of manoeuvrebility. However, a good steady craft if you're getting back into C/L.

Yay! Another Mercury Cobra. Annette hope your maiden goes well. I am very happy with mine.

It is my stunt trainer, so far I am able to fly level and try a few loops. Still nervous about inverted!
