Title: "Automatic" Inverted Flying Handle

Hi Gang,
All right, which one of you out there, with a long memory, remembers which outfit sold a handle that would "automatically" flip the UP and DOWN lines at the push of a button?
Someone mentioned it the other day, and for the life of me, I can't remember who made it.
Who cares if it was a dumb idea!

Both Jim Walker and Francis Renolds built handles that would flip 180 degrees via a trigger. Keith Lightfoot up in Minnesota also did this but all found out pretty quick that it was not necessary, even detrimental to some degree. Keith and several others also tried the idea of turning their hand over so the little finger end was straight up but also soon found out it wasn't necessary either. About 1946 for the Minn. guys. While I was flying then, I can't recall any commercial effort to sell handles that could be tripped inverted. Incidently, Mr. Renolds sent me the handle he built a number of years ago while I was drawing up the Moitle. Both Moitle and the handle now reside in the AMA museum.
