I won the kit in a raffle several years ago and finished it with stars and bars. I removed them to use the Blue Angles graphics. I was worried about ripping the paint off but I got lucky. I went to a Bearcat photo site and found where the graphics went, cleaned the areas and applied them. The top of the wing is mostly blank as it can't be seen from the air or on the ground. Hence the upside down shot.
I've flown the plane before and it's a good performer but a tough build.
Insignia blue Monokote on the wings and stab/elev. Dupli-Color Ford Engine blue over dark grey primer on the fuselage and fin/rudder. 51.1 ounces w/one ounce spinner nut. O.S. .46LA w/APC 11.5 x 4 prop. and a home made tongue muffler. I cut the gear doors down to better match the real thing as the kit doors are too wide.
