E-NC fliers, I have a question.
Should I offer my Single Channel U/Tronics unit without the slide pot as a standard part?
I could call it an "E-NC Special". A Single Channel U/Tronics unit without the 10 K slide pot. You provide the 50 K ohm rotary pot and arm to connect to your three wire bellcrank. I could price it at $15.00 plus shipping.
Any ideas or suggestions?

I don't think I'm alone is using this configuration. All of the other people I know of that have or are building E-carrier planes are using a 50K rotatary pot with the 3 line system. It makes sense to offer it as an option.

Thanks Bob
I will add it to my price list.

Which pot would you recommend based on what you've used so far ? I'm still
not real happy with anything one can get at Radio Shack, and don't know what
has been proven adequate from other sources.
Or maybe Clancy has some recommendation on "low-torque-requirement" pots.

Mike,
I don't have a clear cut recommendation yet. I just got some pots from Digikey and have not tried them yet. they were about $8 a pop and are small cermet pots similar to what Pete is using on his Skyray. The ones he got were from Mouser but when I tried to order them they were out of stock until mid February. I looked around and found the ones at Digikey. I just got the Utronics and the motor/ESC so now I have all the parts to do some tests. The latest airplane is still in its early build stages (that means I have started but I'm not making very quick progress!!!!)
I went through what I could find and Radio Shack and there just wasn't anything close to what we need.
