I'm going, and will bring a couple of planes that all are welcome to try.

I plan on going. I need to sort out a handle next week. My Corsair .15 is all patched up and ready to go.

We have three circles, so lots of practice time. We usually only run two circles during a contest due to manpower.

We also have two awnings (carports) for shade and an AC'd clubhouse!

The hot weather relented a bit to just normal hot which made it a lot more tolerable. Thanks to all who participated. Here are a few pics.

Great pictures and thanks for posting. BTW, what are the dimensions on the concrete takeoff pad?

Don't know the pad specs but I'm sure Bob will be able to provide those.

In a previous post it says the pad is 6' x 42'. Today I thought Bob said it was 46' long. Either way, its non-regulation size was not an issue. I would certainly go back again.

I sure enjoyed myself and can't express my appreciation enough to everyone that flew and helped.. THANK YOU..

The pad is actually 5 foot wide and 42 foot long, have no idea what I was thinking when I posted 6 foot. The take off portion was 26 foot instead of the book 24 because we used two 8 foot 2x2's for the arresting gear and only had 9 wires.. The 2x2's were a foot outside the edges of the pad which made the deck 7 foot wide. From my observations the deck worked out well, those that missed getting a hook up would have missed on a full size deck anyway and didn't see where the cement caused any issues.

It was great to see all the flights, Bill's MVVS 60 powered MO1 is an animal.

Hey Bob, the deck setup was/is great.   I had know problems with it.   Had a lot of fun even tho I should have taken an attempt on my second flight.   Not listening to what I preach.   As I told one of the guys, I have more fun watching than flying.  Thanks to you and all the Gluedobbers for a great day for me. H^^
