Walt, fuel tank for my ASP .15 is 2.5 ozs. Tip weight is .75 oz to start. Check some of the posts by by Bill Bischoff. Should be some ideas there. Nice Avenger, nice choice. How did you manage the dimensions?

On a setup like that the tip weight is the battery weight.

I have a 2 ounce tank on my Magnum powered plane.  I really like the idea of a battery as tip weight and I'll do that on future planes for sure.  Actually, you could put all the electronic stuff in the outer wing and run a wire to the servo behind the engine.   Now you have me thinking and it hurts.  I'll look into modifying my Skyshark.  By the way, that's a nice photo of your Spitfire on Flying Lines.

Walter, looking good.  In most cases recently I use the battery weight as the tip weight. (see attached picture of battery placement on one of my NW .40 planes)  Question... Does using the 2.4 system in .15 Carrier call for increasing the line dia  ot.021, not .015?  So far all my .15's are using 3 lines of .012 or .015 depending on what comes to hand first.

Wayne, this is a Sarpolus 1/2 c/l plan! I thought it might work for my ist 15 carrier due to the large wing area and it looks cool.

At the NATS Navy Carrier meeting, the line sizes for .15 carrier were set at .015 for 2 line setups.
