No carrier flying allowed

Or any other kind at our field. The problem with getting to close with the USG is that when they close so do you. Our field is on USG property and well is closed.

Go Congress!

Or maybe "Congress, go!"

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Tim we agree again! Congress should go, of course their are two houses of congress.  If they can't or won't work together for the people who elected them.

John- Sorry you can't fly at your field. Makes me wonder why they closed it. Do they have something they are not funding by closing your site. Staff to let you in, clean up after you, bathrooms to clean?

Duke, we maintain the facility, , mow, clean,  fix etc, except for major facilities work like if an underground sewer pipe would break or something. No it is closed because the overall facility is closed (NASA) and the guard force is on minimum staff. One less area to patrol, it is separated from the main compound

I'm planning a trip Thursday to my club's field which is at Fort Jackson, SC. I hadn't considered the gates might be closed to civvies. I sure hope not!
