    I received 1st in open Profile Carrier at the NATS the first year it was held with this modified Flight Streak powered by a K&B Greenhead .35.

Those were the GOOD OLD days.

Stock plain bearing 35's with the factory throttles. 

I won that event in 1970 with my own design plane and MAX III 35RC.

I vaguely remember the first year that Profile Carrier was held at the NATS.  I didn't fly profile as I was flying Class II carrier with Srterling Gaurdian with McCoy Redhead .60 set up.  There were over 200 entries just in Open.  Most only got one etempt with only 2 decks in use.  The som e body decide to open carrier so we could fly all classes.  I was against the proposal.
